SERMON SERIES DESCRIPTION:
We all harvest from fields we did not scatter seed. We all reap where we did not sow. We all gather from orchards and vineyards where we did not plant.
Someone before us had the vision and foresight to work the land and till the soil and plant the seeds and harvest the fruit. This is the call of every generation and the holy task of every follower of Christ. Just as we inherit abundance from our ancestors, so too do we sow seeds and plant fields for those who come after us to feast abundantly on God’s grace and promise.
As we move into our annual stewardship season, we’ll explore how to cultivate the keenness of insight that makes generosity possible, the audacity of generosity that enlarges our own souls, and the selflessness of generosity that can transform the world for future generations.

When we look at the world, the problems can seem so big and we can feel so small that we begin to wonder if we can make any difference at all.
Nothing in the world is as it should be—as God intended it to be—and there are so many competing interests and voices trying to keep it that way. Where do we even begin? What core values and common commitments can ground us in the work of co-creating a world God has envisioned since the beginning of time—a world of shalom in which all of creation flourishes?
As we move into another predictably divisive and polarizing election cycle, we’ll explore Micah’s famous mandate “to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with our God.”
What does true justice look like? How can kindness shape our words and actions as we work for the common good? Is there a place for humility in the public and political arena?
Join us for this challenging and timely series as we explore what the Lord requires of us for such a time as this.

“How are you?” It’s the most common question in all the world, in every culture: “Como esta?” “Comment allez-vous?” “Come Va?” “Wutz poppin?” “Wassabi?”
How are you? Because it’s the most common question we’re apt to hear, it invariably leads to the most halfhearted, guarded, disingenuous answers we’re apt to give: “Great.” “Good.” “Fine.” “Okay.” “Hanging in there.” “Can’t complain.” “Living the dream.”
But still, how are you really? How you answer this question is of profound important to God, and in this series, we’ll look at four essential spiritual practices that promise to cultivate wholeness, joy, and zest for life:
How are you really? If you’re less than well, you’re not alone. Join us for this life-giving series as we commit ourselves to being well by drawing from the endless well of God’s grace.
